Big Square Baler Twines

Venus first got into the Big Square baler twine market in 1988 with it's Big Bale Red twine, which had a knot strength of 180kg, and it was instantly well received by farmers and contractors throughout Victoria. Many changes to sizes and densities of big square bales and the machines over the next 20 years has seen Venus introduce many more Big Bale twines culminating with the current Ultimate XX HD White big bale twine with a knot strength of 305kg to suit the highest density big bale machinery on the market. The most common sizes of big square bales are 3' x 4' x 8' (900 x 1200 x 2400mm) Et 4' x 4' x 8' (1200 x 1200 x 2400mm), but there are variations depending on age and brand of machine. The other major factor in deciding which twine will be suitable is the density of the bale and what crop is being baled. No matter what machine or crop, Venus has a Big Bale twine to suit.

      Developed in 2000, Big Blue is popular due to it’s special formulation of polymers to develop a high knot & tensile strength and be highly visible on the bale. Suitable for medium density bales (depending on crop and moisture content), the fibrillation allows ease of knotting with a 204kg knot strength. Made specifically for Australian conditions with UV resistance.
