Rubber bands are named according to their length, width and thickness. One should understand that the quality of a rubber band can be primarily determined by its ‘pure crepe’ content, which refers to the amount of natural rubber, and will affect properties such as weight, stretch, strength and ‘elastic memory’. The higher the content (our Venhart Pure Rubber Band is 97%), the better the quality. There are a number of rubber bands being offered in Australia with less than 70% pure crepe, less crepe means less rubber bands per bag. So buyer beware!
